Intróito. Sl. 24, 1-3. Para Vós elevei a minha alma; meu Deus, em Vós confio, não fique eu envergonhado nem zombem de mim meus inimigos; pois todos os que em Vós confiam não serão confundidos. Sl. (ibid 4) Mostrai-me, Senhor, os vossos caminhos e ensinai-me as vossas veredas. V. Glória ao Pai e ao Filho e ao Espírito Santo. Assim como era no princípio, agora e sempre, e por todos os séculos dos séculos. Amém.
Coleta – Excitai, Senhor, o vosso poder e vinde para que, pela vossa proteção, mereçamos ser livres dos perigos iminentes de nossos pecados e, com vosso auxílio, alcancemos a salvação. Vós que viveis e reinais.
Leitura da Epístola de S. Paulo Apóstolo aos Romanos 13, 11 -14. Irmãos: Tende em atenção o tempo em que estamos; porque é já hora de nos levantarmos do sono. Por quanto agora está mais perto a nossa salvação, que quando abraçamos a fé. A noite está quase passada e o dia aproxima-se. Deixemos, pois, as obras das trevas, e revistamo-nos das armas da luz. Naquele tempo: Disse Jesus a seus discípulos: Haverá sinais no Sol, na Lua, nas estrelas, e na Terra consternação dos povos pela confusão do bramido do mar e das ondas, mirrando-se os homens de susto, na expectativa do que virá sobre todo o mundo; porque as virtudes dos Céus se abalarão. E então verão o Filho do Homem vir sobre uma nuvem com grande poder e majestade. Très sainte et très auguste Trinité, Dieu unique en trois personnes, je crois que vous êtes ici présent. Je vous adore avec les sentiments de l'humilité la plus profonde, et je vous rends de tout mon coeur les hommages qui sont dus à votre souveraine Majesté.

Mon Dieu, je crois fermement toutes les vérités que vous avez révélées, et que vous nous enseignez par votre Église, parce que vous ne pouvez ni vous tromper, ni nous tromper.

Mon Dieu, j'espère, avec une ferme confiance, que vous me donnerez, par les mérites de JésusChrist, votre grâce en ce monde, et si j'observe vos commandements, le bonheur éternel dans l'autre, parce que vous l'avez promis, et que vous êtes fidèle dans vos promesses.

Adorable Jésus, divin modèle de la perfection à laquelle nous devons aspirer, je vais m'appliquer autant que je le pourrai, à me rendre semblable à vous : doux, humble, obéissant, chaste, zélé, patient, charitable et résigné comme vous; et je ferai particulièrement tous mes efforts, pour ne pas retomber aujourd'hui, dans les fautes que je commets si souvent. et dont je souhaite sincèrement me corriger.
Demandons à Dieu les grâces qui nous sont nécessaires
Mon Dieu, vous connaissez ma faiblesse. Je ne puis rien sans le secours de votre grâce. Ne me la refusez pas, Ô mon Dieu, proportionnez-la à mes besoins ; donnez-moi assez de force, pour éviter tout le mal que vous défendez, pour pratiquer tout le bien que vous attendez de moi, et pour souffrir patiemment toutes les peines qu'il vous plaira de m'envoyer.

Carnaval : Imoralidade no seu máximo.
Nestes dois últimos dias de carnaval, conheci um grande acúmulo de castigos e pecados. O Senhor deu-me a conhecer num instante os pecados do mundo inteiro cometidos nestes dias. Desfaleci de terror e, apesar de conhecer toda a profundeza da misericórdia divina, admirei-me que Deus permita que a humanidade exista”.

“O carnaval é um tempo infelicíssimo, no qual os cristãos cometem pecados sobre pecados, e correm à rédea solta para a perdição”.

“Numa outra vez, no tempo de carnaval, apresentou-se-me, após a santa comunhão, sob a forma de Ecce Homo, carregando a cruz, todo coberto de chagas e ferimentos. O Servo de Deus, João de Foligno, dava ao carnaval o nome de: “Colheita do diabo”.
Santa Catarina de Sena, referindo-se ao carnaval, exclamava entre soluços: “Oh! Que tempo diabólico!”
São Carlos Borromeu jamais podia compreender como os cristãos podiam conservar este perniciosíssimo costume do paganismo.
Santa Teresa dos Andes escreve: “Nestes três dias de carnaval tivemos o Santíssimo exposto desde a uma, mais ou menos, até pouco antes das 6 h. São dias de festa e ao mesmo tempo de tristeza. Podemos fazer tão pouco para reparar tanto pecado...”
Santo Afonso Maria de Ligório escreve: “Não é sem razão mística que a Igreja propõe hoje à nossa meditação, Jesus Cristo predizendo a sua dolorosa Paixão. Deseja a nossa boa Mãe que nós, seus filhos, nos unamos a ela na compaixão de seu divino Esposo, e o consolemos com os nossos obséquios; porquanto os pecadores, nestes dias mais do que em outros tempos, lhe renovam os ultrajes descritos no Evangelho. Nestes tristes dias os cristãos, e quiçá entre eles alguns dos mais favorecidos, trairão, como Judas, o seu divino Mestre e o entregarão nas mãos do demônio. Eles o trairão, já não às ocultas, senão nas praças e vias públicas, fazendo ostentação de sua traição!
Eles os trairão, não por trinta dinheiros, mas por coisas mais vis ainda: pela satisfação de uma paixão, por um torpe prazer, por um divertimento momentâneo. Uma das baixezas mais infames que Jesus Cristo sofreu em sua Paixão, foi que os soldados lhe vendaram os olhos e, como se ele nada visse, o cobriram de escarros, e lhe deram bofetadas, dizendo: Profetiza agora, Cristo, quem te bateu? Ah, meu Senhor! Quantas vezes esses mesmos ignominiosos tormentos não Vos são de novo infligidos nestes dias de extravagância diabólica?
Pessoas que se cobrem o rosto com uma máscara, como se Deus assim não pudesse reconhecê-las, não têm vergonha de vomitar em qualquer parte palavras obscenas, cantigas licenciosas, até blasfêmias execráveis, contra o Santo Nome de Deus. Sim, pois se, segundo a palavra do Apóstolo, cada pecado é uma renovação da crucifixão do Filho de Deus. Ah! Nestes dias Jesus será crucificado centenas e milhares de vezes” (Meditações).

Alma Redemptoris Mater.Mother Benign of Our Redeeming Lord
Alma Redemptoris Mater was composed by Herman Contractus (Herman the Cripple) (1013-1054). It is mentioned in The Prioress' Tale in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, which testifies to its popularity in England before Henry VIII. Contractus composed it from phrases taken from the writings of St. Fulgentius, St. Epiphanius, and St. Irenaeus. At one time Alma Redemptoris Mater was briefly used as an antiphon for the hour of Sext for the feast of the Assumption, but since the 13th century it has been a part of Compline. Formerly it was recited only from the first Sunday in Advent until the Feast of the Purification (Feb. 2), but with the revision of the Liturgy of the Hours, it can be recited anytime during the year. The traditional collects, which are not part of the original prayer, are also given below.

CATHOLIC MORAL DRESS CODE
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are they that search his testimonies that seek him with their whole heart."- Ps 118
There are many different ways in which we can sin or cause others to sin such as: our words, actions, neglects and immorality; however, in this day and age the most frequent way we cause ourselves to sin is by our immorality by being immodestly dressed.
Sexual self-consciousness, shame and the covering up of the body follow the Fall in the Garden of Eden (Gn 2:25; 3:7; 3:10-11). The wisdom of biblical literature warns against the snares of feminine shamelessness (Prov.2:16;5:3; 7:5-27). In the New Testament modesty in looks, words and general behavior is inculcated (Matt. 5:28; Eph. 5:3-20; 2 Peter 2:14). General sexual modesty - "a gentle and quiet spirit" - sshould characterize the Christian woman (1 Tim. 2:9-12; 1 Peter 3:1-6)
Saint Thomas treated modesty (pudicitia) as a part of chastity, not a distinct virtue from it. All kinds of things could be and were considered in St. Thomas' context - words, looks, touches, embraces, kisses, fantasies, the nude in art, dress, reading, bathing, dancing, theatrical shows in recent times, movies and television shows (Before Vatican II, each year we had to stand up in Church and Make a vow to God not to go to indecent movies which consisted of anything that was on the Banned List at the back of the Church which would now be ratings such as PG, R, X, XX, XXX. Are these vows being made in any Church now?)
There is a saying that in proportion to the amount of flesh mortal sin seems to increase. This being the case, one would assume that at least our Catholic women and girls would have the good sense to ALWAYS wear clothes that tend to conceal, rather than reveal or call attention to the body. This moral dress code should be Universal, just as our Church is Universal or Catholic. There should be no excuse for moral dress codes being different just because a person lives in a different country; either a person is dressed decently or he is not! True Roman Catholics should wear decent clothes that would show they are conscious to the fact their bodies are "temples of the Holy Ghost".
Women often deny that their semi-nude attire is the source of numerous and serious temptations to the opposite sex. Some reject any responsibility for leading others into sin. Others try to cover their own guilt by such statements as: "He must have a dirty mind. Scanty attire in men doesn't affect me at all. Why should men be tempted by the scanty attire of women?" When a woman is dressed immodestly, she becomes the temptress for men. Remember Our Lord's words to men who fall prey to such allurements: "Whoever shall look on a woman to lust after her hath already committed adultery with her in his heart." (Matt. 5:28) Indirectly, immodest woman are included in this indictment, being cooperators with the sins of men. God has made woman beautiful and attractive to men so as to fit with His plan for procreation in lawful wedlock. As a result of Original sin, mankind must constantly struggle to regulate this attraction. Unless both men and women fortify themselves by prayer, sin quickly enters their immortal souls.
Many women will say they wear the modern fashions because they are more comfortable, and the weather is hot (Remember, it is very hot in Hell). This brings us to the area of sports. Regretably, all too many sports are taboo for us Catholics, not that they are in themselves a sin or a near occasion of sin, but because of the skimpy attire that such sports "require". Think of these sports and the clothes people usually wear when playing the following sports or activities: swimming, baton twirling, tennis, basketball, dancing (disco dancing and little girls who take dancing lessons) and gymnastics. Let us tak swimming for an example, since people usually wear less clothes when swimming than any other sport. Swimsuits have no sleeves, have very low necklines, no coverings for the legs and usually has the whole back exposed. When we think of the saying, "in proportion to the amount of flesh exposed mortal sin seems to increase", shouldn't we avoid the bathing suits like the plaque? Do you think this suggestion is crazy? You say yes, then let us ask another question. Do you prefer to have the mortal sin of immodesty on your soul and the untold number of mortal sins of your being a temptress or tempter and causing others to sin?
One might say that our little girls can't do anything. You are wrong, because, if you modify the costumes and attire that the girls wear, in most cases they can still participate if you are Catholic enough to stand up for the proper moral dress code. In addition to the modifications, our girls can go bicycle riding and horse back riding if they have a full skirt and the skirt reaches at least to the middle of the calf; and, of course, skating can be done in a skirt. Our girls should be pursuing lady-like activities and hobbies which will prepare them for marriage and their proper role as mother and wife. They should be learning to sew, embroider, knit, crochet, cook, make rosaries, sing good Catholic songs and other decent, patriotic songs, play musical instruments (we'll need an organ player eventually for our chapel), paint and draw. Above all they should be learning to talk, dress, sit, walk, stand, kneel, stoop and act like a lady at all times. Our girls have many options open to them, if they will only pursue them in a moral decent manner.
Our Sorrowful and Immaculate Mother, whom God has presented to us as the Perfect Model of Modesty and Purity, is being terribly saddened by the immodest and the impure. However, it has not all happened by accident. Satan planned it this way. As he has done with such evil movements as Feemasonry, Atheistic Communism, Socialism, Modernism and Liberalism, so also has he planned out a program of gradual, not sudden, destruction of the sense of modesty and purity. A mere look at the past 50 years or more shows us very plainly how gradually it was all done, first by apparently innocent abbreviations of garments and by slight revelations of bare flesh and by subtle little displays of the figure, and then, as protests died down, by more and more abbreviations and displays until the crude immodesty of our day became a shocking reality.
Many living today have seen it all happen before their very eyes. They have lived through it and, if they have managed to retain their God-given moral sense, they find the barbarian immodesty of this day intolerable and they look upon it as a sin crying to Heaven for the vengeance that must inevitably come if sinners continue to refuse to amend their ways.
Several Popes have spoken out with authority on the subject of modesty. Pope Benedict XV (1914-1922) and his two successors, Popes Pius XI and Pius XII, have promoted modesty in dress. These are a few words of Pope Benedict XV: "One cannot sufficiently deplore the blindess of so many women of every age and station. Made foolish by a desire to please, they do not see to what degree the indecency of their clothing shocks every honest man and offends God. Most of them would formerly have blushed for such apparel as for a grave fault aginst Christian modesty. Now it does not suffice to exhibit themselves on public thoroughfares; they do not fear to cross the threshold of churches, to assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and even to bear the seducing food of shameful passions to the Holy Altar, where one receives the Heavenly Author of Purity."
It is necessary for us to promote standards of attire for Catholic women and girls, standards such as Pope Pius XI had in mind when he said: "A dress cannot be decent which is cut deeper than two fingers breath under the pit of the throat; which does not cover the arms at least to the elbows; and scarecely reaches a bit beyond the knees. Furthermore, dresses of transparent materials are improper." Ladies, men, girls and boys should always wear underwear and no beige material (it leaves the impression at a distance of having no clothes). If a skirt is snug, it should reach well below the knees; no shorts, no bathing suits, and no pants (for females).
Christ's words are very clear. His teachings about wearing about wearing apparel leave no doubt as to what He meant ("A woman shall not be clothed with man's apparel neither shall a man use woman's apparel: for he that doeth these things is abominable before God.") If Christ said that the sexes should not wear each others clothes and they understood Him, it stands to reason that there was a distinct difference in the men and women's clothes. If the people of Jeus' day could tell a distinction in the clothes, how much more so can we tell a distinction in the pants and dresses of the men and women of today? Many people lament the terrible state of immorality that is prevalent in our society, wondering what can be done about it. Among other things such as praying the rosary daily and reading the Holy Bible and the lives of the saints we can promote modesty by burning bathing suits and shorts and converting pants into decent skirts. Let us always keep in mind that the ultimate success is gaining heaven and nothing else really matters.
We are all born with a fallen nature and, consequently, we must keep our bodies covered in order to avoid the dangers of concupiscence. This fact, a
result of original sin, is deliberately ignored each time that naturalism attempts to insinuate itself into our Christian customs. Then it is that
the purpose of clothing is lost sight of, and instead of being an invitation to virtue, it becomes an incitement to sin. The Church, like a vigilant
Mother, full of tender care for the holiness and eternal salvation of Her children, has often been obliged to warn the faithful so that they might
avoid the errors of fashion, and to take the measures necessary to ensure that the holy places and sacred things should not be profaned by immodesty
in dress.
Unfortunately, we are living in times that have lost the sense of sin and, as a result, we see around us an eruption of styles of dress which are, in
every way, contrary to Christian modesty. Christian people must not allow themselves to be carried along by the spirit of the world but must firmly
resist such deviations... Jacinta Marto, one of the little seers of Fatima, although she was only eleven years old at the time, had a wisdom taught her
by the Mother of God.
She merits, therefore, our attention. Here is what she said with regard to styles of dress: "Fashions will arise which will greatly offend God." When
we consider the fashions of our day, we are led to conclude that the times foretold by the little seer have arrived. Indeed, the styles of dress of
the women and girls of today such as: very tight clothing; dressing like men, including slacks and tights; low necklines; skirts with hemlines or
slits which do not cover the leg below the knee, are absolutely contrary to the norms of Christian modesty.
For this reason, in order to conform to the recommendations of the Holy See, and in particular to the instructions of the Sacred Congregation of the
Council, we urge our faithful people to refrain from following such ways of dressing.
"Those who keep the Law of God", Jacinta said, "should not follow fashions". Our priests must try to apply the instructions of the Sacred Congregation of
the Council, without violence or rudeness, but with firmness. They must not let persons, dressed in the styles described above, receive the Sacraments
and, as far as possible, must not allow them access to the Temple of God. Furthermore, they must frequently remind the faithful of these regulations.
Also, when couples present themselves for marriage preparation, the priests must tell them to inform their wedding guests of the rules for dress in
church. People dressed in these unacceptable ways must not be accepted as witnesses to the marriage and, after due warning, they must not be admitted
to Holy Communion.
It is highly recommended that these prescriptions be posted at the entrance to the church.

Modesty Standards
On January 12, 1930, the Sacred Congregation of the Council, by mandate of Pope Pius XI, issued emphatic instructions on modesty of dress to all
bishops, directing them to insist on these prescriptions: "We recall that a dress cannot be called decent which is cut deeper than two fingers breadth
under the pit of the throat, which does not cover the arms at least to the elbows, and scarcely reaches a bit beyond the knee. Furthermore, dresses of
transparent material are improper. "Let parents keep their daughters away from public gymnastic games and contests; but, if their daughters are compelled to attend such exhibitions, let them see to it that they are fully and modestly dressed. Let them never permit their daughters to don immodest garb."
Rufino J. Cardinal Santos, Archbishop of Manila, also quotes these standards as "The Church's Stand concerning Modesty in Dress" in his Pastoral of
December 6, 1959. The feminine loss of the sense of modesty was indicated by Pope Pius XII who said: "Now many girls do not see anything wrong with
following certain shameless styles (fashions) like so many sheep. They would surely blush if they could only guess the impressions they make and
the feelings they evoke (arouse) in those who see them." (July 17, 1954.)
"O Christian mothers, if only you knew the future distress, peril and ill-restrained shame that you prepare for your sons and daughters by
imprudently accustoming them to live barely clothed, and permitting them to lose the sense of modesty, you would be ashamed of yourselves, and of the
harm done to the little ones entrusted to you by Heaven to be reared in a Christian dignity and culture."
And, men also are held to the virtue of modesty; witness the admonition of Canadian bishops in May of 1946: "Man himself does not escape from the inclination of exhibiting his flesh: some go in public, stripped to the waist, or in very tight pants or in very scanty bathing suits. They thus commit offenses against the virtue of modesty. They may also be an occasion of sin (in thought or desire) for our neighbor."
The opinion which allows custom to dictate the question of modesty was refuted by Pope Pius XII in one short sentence: "There always exists an
absolute norm to be preserved."
Custom, of course, pays no attention to absolute norms; but, it is a follower of this false principle: "... the majority cannot go wrong."
To say that "... modesty is a matter of custom\" is just as wrong as to say that "... honesty is a matter of custom. "What about those who teach "What is customary does not affect us?"
Pope Pius XII calls this application of an ancient principle to the virtue of modesty, "the most insidious of sophisms." He calls attention to the
fact that some people use this sophism "...in order to brand as 'old fashioned' the rebellion of honest people against fashions they consider too
bold."
The Pope's pronouncements make no distinctions for various types of garments. Pius XII states "...an unworthy, an indecent mode of dress has prevailed" without any distinction of place, "on beaches, in country resorts, on the streets, etc." (Aug. 29. 1954) His quotation: "Vice necessarily follows upon public nudity," applies as well to the beaches, or the streets, or resorts, or elsewhere.
Cardinal Pla y Daniel, Archbishop of Toledo, Spain, stated in 1959: "A special danger to morals is represented by public bathing at beaches... Mixed bathing between men and women, which is nearly always a proximate occasion of sin and a scandal, must be avoided."
Modern Catholics may now consider themselves "far too adult" and disdain such directives, but nevertheless they remain the wise counsels of our Holy
Mother the Church.
Padre Pio
The saintly stigmatized Padre Pio was always a merciless enemy of feminine vanity: he never tolerated low-necked dresses, short and or tight fitting
skirts, and forbade his spiritual children to wear transparent stockings. In the last few years of his life, his severity increased enormously, as
fashions became more and more immodest.
He unrelentingly dismissed from his confessional, before they could step inside, all women he judged to be incorrectly dressed. By 1967, on some
mornings, he turned them away one after another, until he ended up confessing very few. His brethren noticed this with a certain unease, then
decided to post on the door of the church a warning: "By Padre Pio's explicit wish, women must enter the confessional wearing skirts AT LEAST 8
INCHES BELOW THE KNEE. It is forbidden to borrow longer dresses in church and to wear them to confession."
The beginning of the struggle with no concessions whatsoever coincided more or less with the advent of the mini-skirt, launched by the English girl Mary
Quant. It had not yet reached Italy as Padre Pio was thundering against short skirts. As fashion houses announced: "Eight inches above the knee",
Padre Pio warned: "Eight inches below the knee".
When Summer is Here
When summer comes, a pastor of souls worries a little more than usual about the salvation of the flock that Our Lord has confided to him. He knows that, in the summer season, souls are more exposed to occasions of offending God, "of attacking God with His won gifts", especially through sinful fashions of dress.
Our Lady said to Sister Lucy at Fatima: "There will be fashions which will greatly offend My Divine Son". Today's fashions prove Our Lady's words
true, for these fashions are occasions of sin, occasions, alas, of serious sin, by reason of the sinful thoughts and desires which they provoke. In
the Gospel, Our Lord warned us about such evil desires: "But I say to you, that whosoever shall look on a woman to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart." (Mt.5:28).
In the life of Saint Frances of Rome, we read of a vision of Hell which was granted her, and which lasted for four hours. God willed to show her, in
the fires of Hell, certain ladies whom she had known in Roman society. For what sins had these souls been damned? They had been damned:
for guilty desires, even though these had not been put into act. for indecent styles of dress, which were the fashion of the day, and which had been a cause of seduction and of sin, for dances, considered inoffensive by the world.
This vision of Hell so marked Saint Frances of Rome, that she had it painted on the murals of her chapel, as a constant reminder of the judgments of God.
God then gave her the mission of drawing the Roman ladies out of their luxury and their vanity.
Our society is much worse than the society of Renaissance Rome. What can we do in order not to yield to the corruption which surrounds us, especially in
the matter of dress? Let us, first of all, recall certain Catholic principles. It was with the help of such principles that Father Emmanuel,
at Mesnil Saint-Loup, was able to make his Parish a truly Christian society once again.
Christianity is stable and solid only insofar as it permeates the whole being of the baptized person. It must, first of all, penetrate the inner
man, and transform him into the image of Jesus Christ, in order to then regulate, according to this image, his exterior actions, words, and attitudes. It is not sufficient, Saint Paul tells us, for the heart to believe; we must also confess with our mouth, if we wish to be saved. And this external confession must extend to all our gestures, movements, habits, and relationships.
From this, it is easy to understand the importance of modesty for women. A woman who is vain gives the lie to her baptismal promises. A woman who
tries to attract men's glances to herself, shows by this conduct that she has no desire to please Jesus Christ.
In Holy Communion, Our Lord takes possession of our whole being, so that the soul becomes subject to Him in humility, and the body in modesty and restraint. From which it follows that a person who goes to Communion must be different, even exteriorly, from one who does not.
Modesty in a woman is the sign that Jesus Christ dwells in her heart. It is a sweet perfume of edification which she is called upon to diffuse.
Modesty in dress and behavior is, therefore, an indispensable way of making us more attentive to the obligations which we contracted at our Baptism. It is a consequence of that dogma of Faith which tells us that the baptized soul is the dwelling of the Blessed Trinity and that the body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost. Saint Paul, infallibly inspired by God, tells us: "Know you not that your members are the temple of the Holy Ghost, Who is in you,
Whom you have from God, and you are not your own?... Glorify and bear God in your body". (1 Cor.6:19-20).
Today's fashions, on the contrary, dishonor and corrupt the Christian woman. Their aim is to seduce and to arouse concupiscence, to the detriment of the soul's spiritual beauty, which is the true goal of our lives. All of this is a strategic Masonic maneuver. The destruction of Christian society, for which the Lodges have been working for two centuries, is to be realized through the destruction of the virtue of modesty in those who are baptized.
This corruption, which has been deliberately and carefully programmed, is being systematically brought about.
It is, therefore, always necessary to remember the indispensable rules of Christian modesty, rules which are not to be practiced only in church! Let us, then, look at these rules, first in general, and then, in particular, with regard to assistance at Mass.
IN GENERAL, clothes should hide the shape of the body rather than accentuate it. Only this kind of clothing can truly be called "decent". This rule
automatically excludes slacks (which are masculine apparel) for women. Feminine apparel is a skirt or a dress which must cover the woman's knees
when she is seated. Decency in dress is to be observed, not only at Mass on Sundays, but every day of the week. The deciding factor is not whether
slacks or culottes are more comfortable than a skirt, but rather to do the Will of God, by "loving Him in all things and above all things" (Collect of
the 6th Sunday after Pentecost).
IN PARTICULAR, when attending Mass, we must be still more careful about how we dress. For instance, women must cover their heads: "Every woman praying
...with her head not covered, disgraces her head" (1 Cor.11:5). This rule has been the constant teaching of the Popes, and Pope St. Pius X had it included in the Code of Canon Law (Canon 1262). It is a sign of humility and submission for a woman to cover her head, and draws down God's graces and blessings upon her. Now is it an indifferent matter, just as no exterior act is an indifferent matter, for it proceeds from our very person and reveals what kind of person we are.
Both men and women must have their arms covered in church, even when the weather is warm. It is true that this is a sacrifice, and we should offer
it to Our Lord, who suffered so much for us in His Body, in order to save us. Let us learn to imitate Him in mortifying our body.
We must hold to these rules, of which we are mentioning only the most essential, without human respect, especially in these times of ours. For,
as Dom Bernard Marechaux used to say:
"The evil of our day is this: that the line of demarcation between Christian and non-Christian, between Christian and heretic, between Christian and idolater, is gradually fading away. The cancer of Liberalism attacks everyone and we must be careful not to be infected ourselves. Those who still call themselves Catholic live, too often, like those who have renounced this title. Women who go to church dress just the way women who do not go to church dress; they read the same books and magazines as these women; they go to the same, often immoral, shows as these women; they no longer pray or do penance. It is a confusion of license and worldliness. As a result of these customs, the Church is beginning to disappear in the world.
Christianity is being lost. Only rarely does one find Catholics to whom the following words of Saint Paul can apply: "...be blameless and sincere children of God, without reproof, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation; among whom you shine as lights in the world". (Phil.2:15). The early Christians stood out among the pagans like shining torches in the dark, and the example of their courage and their virtue attracted the pagans strongly to the Faith. This is something which we do not see today, except in rare cases. Everything is a mish-mash of unrestraint."
Pope Pius XII said substantially the same thing, in an allocution to young Catholic girls during World War II: (May 22, 1941):
"...Numbers of believing and pious women...in accepting to follow certain bold fashions, break down, by their example, the resistance of many other
women to such fashions, which may become for them the cause of spiritual ruin. As long as these provocative styles remain identified with women of
doubtful virtue, good women do not dare to follow them; but once these styles have been accepted by women of good reputation, decent women soon
follow their example, and are carried along by the tide into possible disaster."
Pope Pius XII indeed called Catholics to a Crusade of Purity. Good example is a great act of charity. It is an apostolate which God richly blesses, as
we can see, for instance, in the diocese of Campos in Brazil, where the priests followed the good example of their bishop, Monsignor de Castro
Mayer. Traditional priests, alas still few in number, are eager to have such a Crusade of Purity. In France, we can see the good that is being done
by the "Mouvement de la Jeunesse Catholique de France", and by traditional Catholic schools, in producing Catholics who are enthusiastically practicing the virtue of Christian modesty (which does not, by the way, prevent a woman from being gracious and lovely). In other countries, too, this Crusade is
producing visible fruits of goodness and holiness.
We must mention here the important role of Christian mothers in teaching their children, their daughters especially, and from the time that they are
very little, a true sense of Christian modesty. "Men are lost through women and they are saved through women", a preacher said one day. "By their vanity, they will make a man fall; by their modesty, they will save him. The world of morality oscillates between Eve and Mary. As long as modesty is not practiced, the world will not rise from its decadence." May devotion to the Holy Family help us in our Crusade for Purity!

Saint Thomas treated modesty (pudicitia) as a part of chastity, not a distinct virtue from it. All kinds of things could be and were considered in St. Thomas' context - words, looks, touches, embraces, kisses, fantasies, the nude in art, dress, reading, bathing, dancing, theatrical shows in recent times, movies and television shows (Before Vatican II, each year we had to stand up in Church and Make a vow to God not to go to indecent movies which consisted of anything that was on the Banned List at the back of the Church which would now be ratings such as PG, R, X, XX, XXX. Are these vows being made in any Church now?)
There is a saying that in proportion to the amount of flesh mortal sin seems to increase. This being the case, one would assume that at least our Catholic women and girls would have the good sense to ALWAYS wear clothes that tend to conceal, rather than reveal or call attention to the body. This moral dress code should be Universal, just as our Church is Universal or Catholic. There should be no excuse for moral dress codes being different just because a person lives in a different country; either a person is dressed decently or he is not! True Roman Catholics should wear decent clothes that would show they are conscious to the fact their bodies are "temples of the Holy Ghost".
Women often deny that their semi-nude attire is the source of numerous and serious temptations to the opposite sex. Some reject any responsibility for leading others into sin. Others try to cover their own guilt by such statements as: "He must have a dirty mind. Scanty attire in men doesn't affect me at all. Why should men be tempted by the scanty attire of women?" When a woman is dressed immodestly, she becomes the temptress for men. Remember Our Lord's words to men who fall prey to such allurements: "Whoever shall look on a woman to lust after her hath already committed adultery with her in his heart." (Matt. 5:28) Indirectly, immodest woman are included in this indictment, being cooperators with the sins of men. God has made woman beautiful and attractive to men so as to fit with His plan for procreation in lawful wedlock. As a result of Original sin, mankind must constantly struggle to regulate this attraction. Unless both men and women fortify themselves by prayer, sin quickly enters their immortal souls.
Many women will say they wear the modern fashions because they are more comfortable, and the weather is hot (Remember, it is very hot in Hell). This brings us to the area of sports. Regretably, all too many sports are taboo for us Catholics, not that they are in themselves a sin or a near occasion of sin, but because of the skimpy attire that such sports "require". Think of these sports and the clothes people usually wear when playing the following sports or activities: swimming, baton twirling, tennis, basketball, dancing (disco dancing and little girls who take dancing lessons) and gymnastics. Let us tak swimming for an example, since people usually wear less clothes when swimming than any other sport. Swimsuits have no sleeves, have very low necklines, no coverings for the legs and usually has the whole back exposed. When we think of the saying, "in proportion to the amount of flesh exposed mortal sin seems to increase", shouldn't we avoid the bathing suits like the plaque? Do you think this suggestion is crazy? You say yes, then let us ask another question. Do you prefer to have the mortal sin of immodesty on your soul and the untold number of mortal sins of your being a temptress or tempter and causing others to sin?
One might say that our little girls can't do anything. You are wrong, because, if you modify the costumes and attire that the girls wear, in most cases they can still participate if you are Catholic enough to stand up for the proper moral dress code. In addition to the modifications, our girls can go bicycle riding and horse back riding if they have a full skirt and the skirt reaches at least to the middle of the calf; and, of course, skating can be done in a skirt. Our girls should be pursuing lady-like activities and hobbies which will prepare them for marriage and their proper role as mother and wife. They should be learning to sew, embroider, knit, crochet, cook, make rosaries, sing good Catholic songs and other decent, patriotic songs, play musical instruments (we'll need an organ player eventually for our chapel), paint and draw. Above all they should be learning to talk, dress, sit, walk, stand, kneel, stoop and act like a lady at all times. Our girls have many options open to them, if they will only pursue them in a moral decent manner.
Our Sorrowful and Immaculate Mother, whom God has presented to us as the Perfect Model of Modesty and Purity, is being terribly saddened by the immodest and the impure. However, it has not all happened by accident. Satan planned it this way. As he has done with such evil movements as Feemasonry, Atheistic Communism, Socialism, Modernism and Liberalism, so also has he planned out a program of gradual, not sudden, destruction of the sense of modesty and purity. A mere look at the past 50 years or more shows us very plainly how gradually it was all done, first by apparently innocent abbreviations of garments and by slight revelations of bare flesh and by subtle little displays of the figure, and then, as protests died down, by more and more abbreviations and displays until the crude immodesty of our day became a shocking reality.
Many living today have seen it all happen before their very eyes. They have lived through it and, if they have managed to retain their God-given moral sense, they find the barbarian immodesty of this day intolerable and they look upon it as a sin crying to Heaven for the vengeance that must inevitably come if sinners continue to refuse to amend their ways.
Several Popes have spoken out with authority on the subject of modesty. Pope Benedict XV (1914-1922) and his two successors, Popes Pius XI and Pius XII, have promoted modesty in dress. These are a few words of Pope Benedict XV: "One cannot sufficiently deplore the blindess of so many women of every age and station. Made foolish by a desire to please, they do not see to what degree the indecency of their clothing shocks every honest man and offends God. Most of them would formerly have blushed for such apparel as for a grave fault aginst Christian modesty. Now it does not suffice to exhibit themselves on public thoroughfares; they do not fear to cross the threshold of churches, to assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and even to bear the seducing food of shameful passions to the Holy Altar, where one receives the Heavenly Author of Purity."
It is necessary for us to promote standards of attire for Catholic women and girls, standards such as Pope Pius XI had in mind when he said: "A dress cannot be decent which is cut deeper than two fingers breath under the pit of the throat; which does not cover the arms at least to the elbows; and scarecely reaches a bit beyond the knees. Furthermore, dresses of transparent materials are improper." Ladies, men, girls and boys should always wear underwear and no beige material (it leaves the impression at a distance of having no clothes). If a skirt is snug, it should reach well below the knees; no shorts, no bathing suits, and no pants (for females).
Christ's words are very clear. His teachings about wearing about wearing apparel leave no doubt as to what He meant ("A woman shall not be clothed with man's apparel neither shall a man use woman's apparel: for he that doeth these things is abominable before God.") If Christ said that the sexes should not wear each others clothes and they understood Him, it stands to reason that there was a distinct difference in the men and women's clothes. If the people of Jeus' day could tell a distinction in the clothes, how much more so can we tell a distinction in the pants and dresses of the men and women of today? Many people lament the terrible state of immorality that is prevalent in our society, wondering what can be done about it. Among other things such as praying the rosary daily and reading the Holy Bible and the lives of the saints we can promote modesty by burning bathing suits and shorts and converting pants into decent skirts. Let us always keep in mind that the ultimate success is gaining heaven and nothing else really matters.
We are all born with a fallen nature and, consequently, we must keep our bodies covered in order to avoid the dangers of concupiscence. This fact, a
result of original sin, is deliberately ignored each time that naturalism attempts to insinuate itself into our Christian customs. Then it is that
the purpose of clothing is lost sight of, and instead of being an invitation to virtue, it becomes an incitement to sin. The Church, like a vigilant
Mother, full of tender care for the holiness and eternal salvation of Her children, has often been obliged to warn the faithful so that they might
avoid the errors of fashion, and to take the measures necessary to ensure that the holy places and sacred things should not be profaned by immodesty
in dress.
Unfortunately, we are living in times that have lost the sense of sin and, as a result, we see around us an eruption of styles of dress which are, in
every way, contrary to Christian modesty. Christian people must not allow themselves to be carried along by the spirit of the world but must firmly
resist such deviations... Jacinta Marto, one of the little seers of Fatima, although she was only eleven years old at the time, had a wisdom taught her
by the Mother of God.
She merits, therefore, our attention. Here is what she said with regard to styles of dress: "Fashions will arise which will greatly offend God." When
we consider the fashions of our day, we are led to conclude that the times foretold by the little seer have arrived. Indeed, the styles of dress of
the women and girls of today such as: very tight clothing; dressing like men, including slacks and tights; low necklines; skirts with hemlines or
slits which do not cover the leg below the knee, are absolutely contrary to the norms of Christian modesty.
For this reason, in order to conform to the recommendations of the Holy See, and in particular to the instructions of the Sacred Congregation of the
Council, we urge our faithful people to refrain from following such ways of dressing.
"Those who keep the Law of God", Jacinta said, "should not follow fashions". Our priests must try to apply the instructions of the Sacred Congregation of
the Council, without violence or rudeness, but with firmness. They must not let persons, dressed in the styles described above, receive the Sacraments
and, as far as possible, must not allow them access to the Temple of God. Furthermore, they must frequently remind the faithful of these regulations.
Also, when couples present themselves for marriage preparation, the priests must tell them to inform their wedding guests of the rules for dress in
church. People dressed in these unacceptable ways must not be accepted as witnesses to the marriage and, after due warning, they must not be admitted
to Holy Communion.
It is highly recommended that these prescriptions be posted at the entrance to the church.

Modesty Standards
On January 12, 1930, the Sacred Congregation of the Council, by mandate of Pope Pius XI, issued emphatic instructions on modesty of dress to all
bishops, directing them to insist on these prescriptions: "We recall that a dress cannot be called decent which is cut deeper than two fingers breadth
under the pit of the throat, which does not cover the arms at least to the elbows, and scarcely reaches a bit beyond the knee. Furthermore, dresses of
transparent material are improper. "Let parents keep their daughters away from public gymnastic games and contests; but, if their daughters are compelled to attend such exhibitions, let them see to it that they are fully and modestly dressed. Let them never permit their daughters to don immodest garb."
Rufino J. Cardinal Santos, Archbishop of Manila, also quotes these standards as "The Church's Stand concerning Modesty in Dress" in his Pastoral of
December 6, 1959. The feminine loss of the sense of modesty was indicated by Pope Pius XII who said: "Now many girls do not see anything wrong with
following certain shameless styles (fashions) like so many sheep. They would surely blush if they could only guess the impressions they make and
the feelings they evoke (arouse) in those who see them." (July 17, 1954.)
"O Christian mothers, if only you knew the future distress, peril and ill-restrained shame that you prepare for your sons and daughters by
imprudently accustoming them to live barely clothed, and permitting them to lose the sense of modesty, you would be ashamed of yourselves, and of the
harm done to the little ones entrusted to you by Heaven to be reared in a Christian dignity and culture."
And, men also are held to the virtue of modesty; witness the admonition of Canadian bishops in May of 1946: "Man himself does not escape from the inclination of exhibiting his flesh: some go in public, stripped to the waist, or in very tight pants or in very scanty bathing suits. They thus commit offenses against the virtue of modesty. They may also be an occasion of sin (in thought or desire) for our neighbor."
The opinion which allows custom to dictate the question of modesty was refuted by Pope Pius XII in one short sentence: "There always exists an
absolute norm to be preserved."
Custom, of course, pays no attention to absolute norms; but, it is a follower of this false principle: "... the majority cannot go wrong."
To say that "... modesty is a matter of custom\" is just as wrong as to say that "... honesty is a matter of custom. "What about those who teach "What is customary does not affect us?"
Pope Pius XII calls this application of an ancient principle to the virtue of modesty, "the most insidious of sophisms." He calls attention to the
fact that some people use this sophism "...in order to brand as 'old fashioned' the rebellion of honest people against fashions they consider too
bold."
The Pope's pronouncements make no distinctions for various types of garments. Pius XII states "...an unworthy, an indecent mode of dress has prevailed" without any distinction of place, "on beaches, in country resorts, on the streets, etc." (Aug. 29. 1954) His quotation: "Vice necessarily follows upon public nudity," applies as well to the beaches, or the streets, or resorts, or elsewhere.
Cardinal Pla y Daniel, Archbishop of Toledo, Spain, stated in 1959: "A special danger to morals is represented by public bathing at beaches... Mixed bathing between men and women, which is nearly always a proximate occasion of sin and a scandal, must be avoided."
Modern Catholics may now consider themselves "far too adult" and disdain such directives, but nevertheless they remain the wise counsels of our Holy
Mother the Church.
Padre Pio
The saintly stigmatized Padre Pio was always a merciless enemy of feminine vanity: he never tolerated low-necked dresses, short and or tight fitting
skirts, and forbade his spiritual children to wear transparent stockings. In the last few years of his life, his severity increased enormously, as
fashions became more and more immodest.
He unrelentingly dismissed from his confessional, before they could step inside, all women he judged to be incorrectly dressed. By 1967, on some
mornings, he turned them away one after another, until he ended up confessing very few. His brethren noticed this with a certain unease, then
decided to post on the door of the church a warning: "By Padre Pio's explicit wish, women must enter the confessional wearing skirts AT LEAST 8
INCHES BELOW THE KNEE. It is forbidden to borrow longer dresses in church and to wear them to confession."
The beginning of the struggle with no concessions whatsoever coincided more or less with the advent of the mini-skirt, launched by the English girl Mary
Quant. It had not yet reached Italy as Padre Pio was thundering against short skirts. As fashion houses announced: "Eight inches above the knee",
Padre Pio warned: "Eight inches below the knee".
When Summer is Here
When summer comes, a pastor of souls worries a little more than usual about the salvation of the flock that Our Lord has confided to him. He knows that, in the summer season, souls are more exposed to occasions of offending God, "of attacking God with His won gifts", especially through sinful fashions of dress.
Our Lady said to Sister Lucy at Fatima: "There will be fashions which will greatly offend My Divine Son". Today's fashions prove Our Lady's words
true, for these fashions are occasions of sin, occasions, alas, of serious sin, by reason of the sinful thoughts and desires which they provoke. In
the Gospel, Our Lord warned us about such evil desires: "But I say to you, that whosoever shall look on a woman to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart." (Mt.5:28).
In the life of Saint Frances of Rome, we read of a vision of Hell which was granted her, and which lasted for four hours. God willed to show her, in
the fires of Hell, certain ladies whom she had known in Roman society. For what sins had these souls been damned? They had been damned:
for guilty desires, even though these had not been put into act. for indecent styles of dress, which were the fashion of the day, and which had been a cause of seduction and of sin, for dances, considered inoffensive by the world.
This vision of Hell so marked Saint Frances of Rome, that she had it painted on the murals of her chapel, as a constant reminder of the judgments of God.
God then gave her the mission of drawing the Roman ladies out of their luxury and their vanity.
Our society is much worse than the society of Renaissance Rome. What can we do in order not to yield to the corruption which surrounds us, especially in
the matter of dress? Let us, first of all, recall certain Catholic principles. It was with the help of such principles that Father Emmanuel,
at Mesnil Saint-Loup, was able to make his Parish a truly Christian society once again.
Christianity is stable and solid only insofar as it permeates the whole being of the baptized person. It must, first of all, penetrate the inner
man, and transform him into the image of Jesus Christ, in order to then regulate, according to this image, his exterior actions, words, and attitudes. It is not sufficient, Saint Paul tells us, for the heart to believe; we must also confess with our mouth, if we wish to be saved. And this external confession must extend to all our gestures, movements, habits, and relationships.
From this, it is easy to understand the importance of modesty for women. A woman who is vain gives the lie to her baptismal promises. A woman who
tries to attract men's glances to herself, shows by this conduct that she has no desire to please Jesus Christ.
In Holy Communion, Our Lord takes possession of our whole being, so that the soul becomes subject to Him in humility, and the body in modesty and restraint. From which it follows that a person who goes to Communion must be different, even exteriorly, from one who does not.
Modesty in a woman is the sign that Jesus Christ dwells in her heart. It is a sweet perfume of edification which she is called upon to diffuse.
Modesty in dress and behavior is, therefore, an indispensable way of making us more attentive to the obligations which we contracted at our Baptism. It is a consequence of that dogma of Faith which tells us that the baptized soul is the dwelling of the Blessed Trinity and that the body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost. Saint Paul, infallibly inspired by God, tells us: "Know you not that your members are the temple of the Holy Ghost, Who is in you,
Whom you have from God, and you are not your own?... Glorify and bear God in your body". (1 Cor.6:19-20).
Today's fashions, on the contrary, dishonor and corrupt the Christian woman. Their aim is to seduce and to arouse concupiscence, to the detriment of the soul's spiritual beauty, which is the true goal of our lives. All of this is a strategic Masonic maneuver. The destruction of Christian society, for which the Lodges have been working for two centuries, is to be realized through the destruction of the virtue of modesty in those who are baptized.
This corruption, which has been deliberately and carefully programmed, is being systematically brought about.
It is, therefore, always necessary to remember the indispensable rules of Christian modesty, rules which are not to be practiced only in church! Let us, then, look at these rules, first in general, and then, in particular, with regard to assistance at Mass.
IN GENERAL, clothes should hide the shape of the body rather than accentuate it. Only this kind of clothing can truly be called "decent". This rule
automatically excludes slacks (which are masculine apparel) for women. Feminine apparel is a skirt or a dress which must cover the woman's knees
when she is seated. Decency in dress is to be observed, not only at Mass on Sundays, but every day of the week. The deciding factor is not whether
slacks or culottes are more comfortable than a skirt, but rather to do the Will of God, by "loving Him in all things and above all things" (Collect of
the 6th Sunday after Pentecost).
IN PARTICULAR, when attending Mass, we must be still more careful about how we dress. For instance, women must cover their heads: "Every woman praying
...with her head not covered, disgraces her head" (1 Cor.11:5). This rule has been the constant teaching of the Popes, and Pope St. Pius X had it included in the Code of Canon Law (Canon 1262). It is a sign of humility and submission for a woman to cover her head, and draws down God's graces and blessings upon her. Now is it an indifferent matter, just as no exterior act is an indifferent matter, for it proceeds from our very person and reveals what kind of person we are.
Both men and women must have their arms covered in church, even when the weather is warm. It is true that this is a sacrifice, and we should offer
it to Our Lord, who suffered so much for us in His Body, in order to save us. Let us learn to imitate Him in mortifying our body.
We must hold to these rules, of which we are mentioning only the most essential, without human respect, especially in these times of ours. For,
as Dom Bernard Marechaux used to say:
"The evil of our day is this: that the line of demarcation between Christian and non-Christian, between Christian and heretic, between Christian and idolater, is gradually fading away. The cancer of Liberalism attacks everyone and we must be careful not to be infected ourselves. Those who still call themselves Catholic live, too often, like those who have renounced this title. Women who go to church dress just the way women who do not go to church dress; they read the same books and magazines as these women; they go to the same, often immoral, shows as these women; they no longer pray or do penance. It is a confusion of license and worldliness. As a result of these customs, the Church is beginning to disappear in the world.
Christianity is being lost. Only rarely does one find Catholics to whom the following words of Saint Paul can apply: "...be blameless and sincere children of God, without reproof, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation; among whom you shine as lights in the world". (Phil.2:15). The early Christians stood out among the pagans like shining torches in the dark, and the example of their courage and their virtue attracted the pagans strongly to the Faith. This is something which we do not see today, except in rare cases. Everything is a mish-mash of unrestraint."
Pope Pius XII said substantially the same thing, in an allocution to young Catholic girls during World War II: (May 22, 1941):
"...Numbers of believing and pious women...in accepting to follow certain bold fashions, break down, by their example, the resistance of many other
women to such fashions, which may become for them the cause of spiritual ruin. As long as these provocative styles remain identified with women of
doubtful virtue, good women do not dare to follow them; but once these styles have been accepted by women of good reputation, decent women soon
follow their example, and are carried along by the tide into possible disaster."
Pope Pius XII indeed called Catholics to a Crusade of Purity. Good example is a great act of charity. It is an apostolate which God richly blesses, as
we can see, for instance, in the diocese of Campos in Brazil, where the priests followed the good example of their bishop, Monsignor de Castro
Mayer. Traditional priests, alas still few in number, are eager to have such a Crusade of Purity. In France, we can see the good that is being done
by the "Mouvement de la Jeunesse Catholique de France", and by traditional Catholic schools, in producing Catholics who are enthusiastically practicing the virtue of Christian modesty (which does not, by the way, prevent a woman from being gracious and lovely). In other countries, too, this Crusade is
producing visible fruits of goodness and holiness.
We must mention here the important role of Christian mothers in teaching their children, their daughters especially, and from the time that they are
very little, a true sense of Christian modesty. "Men are lost through women and they are saved through women", a preacher said one day. "By their vanity, they will make a man fall; by their modesty, they will save him. The world of morality oscillates between Eve and Mary. As long as modesty is not practiced, the world will not rise from its decadence." May devotion to the Holy Family help us in our Crusade for Purity!

Filmes pornográficos cheios de cenas de sexo apresentando louras cujos olhos sedutores parecem dizer “quero você” possivelmente são uma das maiores enganações de todos os tempos. Acredite em mim, falo com propriedade. Eu fazia isso o tempo todo, eu fazia filmes, e tudo por desejo de poder e por amor ao dinheiro. Eu nunca gostei de sexo. Eu nunca quis fazer sexo. É isso mesmo, nenhuma de nós – mulheres lindas com o cabelo recém tingido de loiro – nenhuma de nós gosta de fazer pornografia. Na verdade, a gente detesta. Odiamos ser tocadas por estranhos que nem ligam para nós. Odiamos ser degradadas com seus odores desagradáveis e corpos suados. Algumas mulheres odeiam tanto que se pode ouvi-las vomitando no banheiro entre as cenas. Outras podem ser vistas do lado de fora fumando interminavelmente cigarro após cigarro...
Mas a indústria pornográfica quer que VOCÊ pense que as atrizes pornográficas adoram sexo. Eles querem que você pense que gostamos de ser degradadas por todo tipo de atos repulsivos. Na verdade, atrizes pornográficas têm chegado no “set” de filmagem sem saber de certos requerimentos, e os produtores falam que ela tem que fazer aquilo ou sair sem receber pagamento. Trabalhe agora ou não trabalhe nunca mais. Sim, nós escolhemos. Algumas precisavam do dinheiro. Mas fomos manipuladas, coagidas, e até ameaçadas. Algumas de nós pegaram Aids, eu pessoalmente peguei Herpes, uma doença sexualmente transmissível (DST) que não tem cura. Outra atriz pornô foi para casa depois de tentar em vão fugir de sua dor, colocou uma pistola na cabeça e puxou o gatilho. Agora ela está morta.
Seguramente pode-se dizer que a maioria das mulheres que começam a atuar em filmes pornôs para fazer dinheiro provavelmente não cresceu em um ambiente saudável em sua infância também. De fato, muitas atrizes admitem ter sofrido abuso sexual, abuso físico, abuso verbal e negligência por parte dos pais. Algumas foram estupradas por parentes e molestadas por vizinhos. Quando éramos pequenas garotas queríamos brincar com bonecas e ser mãe delas, e não ter grandes e assustadores homens em cima de nós. Então nos ensinaram desde criança que o sexo nos fazia ter valor. As mesmas violações horríveis que experimentamos naquela época, passamos a reviver enquanto fazemos nossos truques diante das câmeras. E nós odiávamos cada minuto daquilo. Somos apenas pequenas meninas traumatizadas vivendo à base de anti-depressivos, drogas e álcool, e teatralizando nossa dor na frente de VOCÊ, que continua abusando de nós.
Enquanto continuamos nos traumatizando ao fazer mais e mais filmes “adultos”, usamos mais e mais álcool e drogas. Vivemos constantemente com medo de pegar Aids e DST’s. Toda vez que receamos estar com o vírus e entramos em pânico, corremos para a clínica mais próxima para um “checkup” de emergência. Os produtores de filmes pornôs insistem em oferecer aos espectadores o sexo fantasioso que eles demandam, sacrificando ao mesmo tempo aqueles mesmos que fazem tudo acontecer. Herpes, gonorréia, sífilis, clamídia, e outras doenças fazem parte das angústias com que lidamos diariamente. Fazemos testes todo mês, mas sabemos que teste não é prevenção. Além da preocupação em pegar uma doença, há outras atividades prejudiciais que fazemos e que também são muito perigosas. Algumas de nós tiveram danos físicos em partes internas do corpo.
Quando as atrizes pornográficas terminam o dia e vão para casa, tentam estabelecer relações saudáveis, mas alguns de nossos namorados ficam com ciúmes e abusam fisicamente de nós. Portanto, ao invés de relacionamento com outra pessoas, casamos com os diretores dos filmes, enquanto outras de nós preferem relacionamentos lésbicos. Realmente um momento marcante é quando nossa filha acidentalmente sai para fora e vê mamãe beijando uma outra mulher.
Em nossos dias de folga caminhamos por aí feito zumbis, com uma cerveja em uma mão e um copo de uísque na outra. Precisamos que vocês nos segurem em seus braços fortes enquanto choramos amargamente nossas lágrimas sobre nossas profundas feridas, e comecemos a nos curar. Filmes pornográficos cheios de cenas de sexo apresentando louras cujos olhos sedutores parecem dizer “quero você” possivelmente são uma das maiores enganações de todos os tempos. Acredite em mim, falo com propriedade. Eu fazia isso o tempo todo, eu fazia filmes, e tudo por desejo de poder e por amor ao dinheiro. Eu nunca gostei de sexo. Eu nunca quis fazer sexo. É isso mesmo, nenhuma de nós – mulheres lindas com o cabelo recém tingido de loiro – nenhuma de nós gosta de fazer pornografia. Na verdade, a gente detesta. Odiamos ser tocadas por estranhos que nem ligam para nós. Odiamos ser degradadas com seus odores desagradáveis e corpos suados. Algumas mulheres odeiam tanto que se pode ouvi-las vomitando no banheiro entre as cenas. Outras podem ser vistas do lado de fora fumando interminavelmente cigarro após cigarro...
Mas a indústria pornográfica quer que VOCÊ pense que as atrizes pornográficas adoram sexo. Eles querem que você pense que gostamos de ser degradadas por todo tipo de atos repulsivos. Na verdade, atrizes pornográficas têm chegado no “set” de filmagem sem saber de certos requerimentos, e os produtores falam que ela tem que fazer aquilo ou sair sem receber pagamento. Trabalhe agora ou não trabalhe nunca mais. Sim, nós escolhemos. Algumas precisavam do dinheiro. Mas fomos manipuladas, coagidas, e até ameaçadas. Algumas de nós pegaram Aids, eu pessoalmente peguei Herpes, uma doença sexualmente transmissível (DST) que não tem cura. Outra atriz pornô foi para casa depois de tentar em vão fugir de sua dor, colocou uma pistola na cabeça e puxou o gatilho. Agora ela está morta.
Seguramente pode-se dizer que a maioria das mulheres que começam a atuar em filmes pornôs para fazer dinheiro provavelmente não cresceu em um ambiente saudável em sua infância também. De fato, muitas atrizes admitem ter sofrido abuso sexual, abuso físico, abuso verbal e negligência por parte dos pais. Algumas foram estupradas por parentes e molestadas por vizinhos. Quando éramos pequenas garotas queríamos brincar com bonecas e ser mãe delas, e não ter grandes e assustadores homens em cima de nós. Então nos ensinaram desde criança que o sexo nos fazia ter valor. As mesmas violações horríveis que experimentamos naquela época, passamos a reviver enquanto fazemos nossos truques diante das câmeras. E nós odiávamos cada minuto daquilo. Somos apenas pequenas meninas traumatizadas vivendo à base de anti-depressivos, drogas e álcool, e teatralizando nossa dor na frente de VOCÊ, que continua abusando de nós.
Enquanto continuamos nos traumatizando ao fazer mais e mais filmes “adultos”, usamos mais e mais álcool e drogas. Vivemos constantemente com medo de pegar Aids e DST’s. Toda vez que receamos estar com o vírus e entramos em pânico, corremos para a clínica mais próxima para um “checkup” de emergência. Os produtores de filmes pornôs insistem em oferecer aos espectadores o sexo fantasioso que eles demandam, sacrificando ao mesmo tempo aqueles mesmos que fazem tudo acontecer. Herpes, gonorréia, sífilis, clamídia, e outras doenças fazem parte das angústias com que lidamos diariamente. Fazemos testes todo mês, mas sabemos que teste não é prevenção. Além da preocupação em pegar uma doença, há outras atividades prejudiciais que fazemos e que também são muito perigosas. Algumas de nós tiveram danos físicos em partes internas do corpo.
Quando as atrizes pornográficas terminam o dia e vão para casa, tentam estabelecer relações saudáveis, mas alguns de nossos namorados ficam com ciúmes e abusam fisicamente de nós. Portanto, ao invés de relacionamento com outra pessoas, casamos com os diretores dos filmes, enquanto outras de nós preferem relacionamentos lésbicos. Realmente um momento marcante é quando nossa filha acidentalmente sai para fora e vê mamãe beijando uma outra mulher.
Em nossos dias de folga caminhamos por aí feito zumbis, com uma cerveja em uma mão e um copo de uísque na outra. How to begin to pray in Latin.

This prayer was given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ Himself when the apostles asked Him to teach them how to pray (Mt 6:9-13) and thus the prayer has been a part of the Church since the very beginning. The Didache (1st-2nd century) commends the prayer to be recited by the faithful three times during the day. In the latter part of the 4th century it became an official part of the Mass and was recited after the breaking of the bread. Later, Pope St. Gregory the Great, influenced by St. Augustine, moved it to just before the breaking of the bread where it has been ever since. Today, the Didache's tradition of reciting the prayer thrice daily continues in the Church with the Lord's Prayer being recited at Mass and then twice more during the Liturgy of the Hours, at Lauds and Vespers.
Prior to the Protestant Reformation, the Our Father was universally recited in Latin in the West by clergy and laity alike. The rather curious English translation we have today is due to Henry VIII's efforts to impose a standard English version across his realm. Catholics, not wishing to be overly conspicuous in a place very hostile to the Catholic Church at the time, adopted the translation in order to remain inconspicuous.
AVE MARIA, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

The joining of these two passages can be found as early as the fifth, and perhaps even the fourth, century in the eastern liturgies of St. James of Antioch and St. Mark of Alexandria. It is also recorded in the ritual of St. Severus (538 AD). In the west it was in use in Rome by the 7th century for it is prescribed as an offertory antiphon for the feast of the Annunciation. The great popularity of the phrase by the 11th century is attested to in the writings of St. Peter Damian (1007-1072) and Hermann of Tournai (d.c. 1147). Later, probably by Pope Urban IV around the year 1262, Jesus' name was inserted at the end of the two passages.
The second half of the prayer (Holy Mary..) can be traced back to the 15th century where two endings are found. One ending, Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, is found in the writings of St. Bernardine of Siena (1380-1444 AD) and the Carthusians. The current form of the prayer became the standard form sometime in the 16th century and was included in the reformed Breviary promulgated by Pope St. Pius V in 1568

Modas indecentes cada vez mais em uso.
Estaremos presenciando a morte da modéstia?
Sob o título acima, a revista americana “Catholique Online” publica artigo de Jennifer Hartline, católica combativa, esposa e dona-de-casa, mãe de três filhos preciosos. A senhora Hartline faz uma descrição das modas femininas atuais, que dispensa comentários e deixa claro por que Nossa Senhora chora. Traduzimos abaixo tópicos desse importante artigo.
“Estou de luto pela morte da modéstia, doente por ver mulheres 'se exibindo' onde quer que eu vá. Isso é tão inevitável quanto lamentável. Entristece-me a sorte dos homens de hoje -- pelo menos dos que procuram agir como cavalheiros. Mal podem eles erguer os olhos acima de seus sapatos, sem serem confrontados com mulheres seminuas. Mais do que falta de consideração, isso é irresponsável, desrespeitoso; e se você quiser saber mais, provavelmente pecaminoso.
Mulheres expõem suas prendas em roupas colantes e curtas, que exibem mais do que escondem, mas se mostram ofendidas quando não são prestigiadas pelas suas habilidades e inteligência. Vendem-se como objeto sexual, mas se mostram chocadas quando tratadas como tal.
E não se enganem, moças, quando vocês andam por aí com a metade dos seios para fora da blusa, ou com sutiãs estreitos e pequenos, com blusas sem a parte de trás, com mini-saias, jeans apertados e saltos altos -- vocês estão se oferecendo como objeto sexual, queiram ou não. [...]
Já é péssimo que a moda feminina adulta esteja voltada para aspectos sexuais, mas o mais lamentável é que isso se tenha estendido às mocinhas. É chocante ver o que se tornou aceitável na moda das jovens. Não se passa um dia sem que eu veja meninas vestidas com roupas que expõem os ombros e os braços, além do umbigo. Roupas que, na minha infância, não me teria sido permitido usar sequer ao sair do banheiro.
Mães protejam a inocência de suas filhas e sua pureza, vestindo-as com modéstia
É doloroso e triste constatar que os pais e mães de hoje não protegem a inocência de suas filhas e sua pureza, vestindo-as com modéstia. As meninas estão aprendendo, em idade ainda muito jovem, que nada há de errado em que seu corpo seja publicamente objeto de consumo, e que sua auto-estima e auto-imagem sejam baseadas na sua capacidade de atração sexual.
Desde tenra idade as sementes da promiscuidade são plantadas, e a partir delas crescem a prática sexual entre não casados, doenças sexualmente transmissíveis, idéias aberrantes sobre sexo, gravidez indesejada, conceitos mórbidos sobre o corpo, relacionamentos destrutivos, corações partidos; e, o pior de tudo, bebês mortos por aborto. Retrocedendo passo a passo, pode-se ver que tudo começa com a falta de modéstia...
Tive recentemente uma troca de e-mails com o presidente de uma empresa de roupas infantis, depois de ficar chocada com o que vi no seu catálogo na internet, onde um maiô para meninas (abaixo de três anos de idade) consistia em apenas dois pedacinhos de tecido imitando joaninhas, presos aos ombros por fios. Muito adequado para exibicionistas do nudismo.
Estamos vivendo numa cultura saturada de sexo e perversões sexuais. Basta um pouco de bom senso para perceber que nossas filhas não devem ficar seminuas em público, mesmo se tiverem apenas dois anos de idade. Um maiô como esse é o sonho de um pedófilo, coisa que não me parece difícil de entender.
A educação de nossas crianças para a abstinência fará reviver com êxito na juventude feminina a modéstia no vestir. Ensinando à menina que seu corpo é sagrado e deve ser tratado com respeito, mostrando-lhe como fazer isso através das roupas que ela veste, será muito menos provável ela tornar-se vítima da impureza.
Vistam-se com dignidade, meninas, e mostrem a si mesmas o respeito que vocês merecem. Quem é cavalheiro compreenderá sua conduta”.(*)

22.08.10 - Castel Gandolfo: “Deus depõe os orgulhosos e poderosos deste mundo e exalta os humildes”: foi o que recordou o Papa Bento XVI ao meio-dia deste domingo antes de rezar a oração mariana do Ângelus, no pátio interno da residência de verão em Castel Gandolfo, comentando a festa litúrgica de hoje da Realeza de Maria. Oito dias após a solenidade da sua Assunção ao Céu, a liturgia nos convida a venerar a Bem-aventurada Virgem Maria com o título de “Rainha”.
“A pequena e simples menina de Nazaré – disse Bento XVI - tornou-se a Rainha do mundo! Esta é uma das maravilhas que revelam o coração de Deus.”
“A Mãe de Cristo – explicou ainda o Papa – é contemplada coroada por seu Filho, isto é, associada à sua Realeza universal, como a representam muitos mosaicos e pinturas”. Uma representação que encontra eco significativo no Evangelho de hoje, onde Jesus diz: “Vejam, há últimos que serão primeiros, e há primeiros que serão últimos”. “Nossa Senhora é o exemplo perfeito de tal verdade evangélica”, disse Bento XVI.
“Na história das cidades e dos povos evangelizados pela mensagem cristã são inúmeros os testemunhos de veneração pública, em certos casos até mesmo institucionais à realeza da Virgem Maria”, continuou o Pontífice chamando a atenção para o fato de que “a realeza de Maria é totalmente relativa à de Cristo”, porque “a Mãe compartilhou com o Filho não só os aspectos humanos” mas “por obra do Espírito Santo” também a “intenção profunda, a vontade divina, de modo que toda a sua vida, pobre e humilde, foi elevada, transformada, glorificada passando através da porta estreita que conduz à salvação, que é o próprio Jesus”.
“Sim, Maria é a primeira a passar através do caminho aberto por Cristo para entrar no Reino de Deus, um caminho acessível aos humildes, àqueles que confiam na palavra de Deus e se comprometem a colocá-la em prática”. Em seguida o Papa concedeu a todos a sua Benção Apostólica.
Na conclusão do encontro com os fiéis e peregrinos em Castel Gandolfo o Papa saudou vários grupos em seus respectivos idiomas. Falando em francês, Bento XVI recordou que faz parte da mensagem cristã a acolhida às pessoas de todas as nações, de todas as culturas.
Os textos litúrgicos de hoje – disse ainda o Pontífice em francês – nos recordam que “todos os homens são chamados à salvação” e contém um convite a acolher as legítimas diversidades humanas seguindo Jesus, que “veio reunir os homens de todas as nações e de todas as línguas”.
O Papa fez ainda uma saudação aos peregrinos de língua portuguesa.
“Saúdo também o grupo brasileiro da paróquia de São Joaquim, diocese de Franca, e demais peregrinos de língua portuguesa, desejando que esta peregrinação vos ajude a fortalecer a confiança em Jesus Cristo e a encarnar na vida a sua mensagem de salvação. De coração vos agradeço e abençôo. Ide com Deus!”

As Quinze Promessas do Rosário.
1. A quem me sirva, rezando diariamente meu Rosário, receberá qualquer graça que me peça.
2.Prometo minha especialíssima proteção e grandes benefícios aos que devotamente rezem meu Rosário.
3. O Rosário será um fortíssimo escudo de defesa contra o inferno, destruirá os vícios, livrará dos pecados e exterminará as heresias.
4. O Rosário fará germinar as virtudes este também fará que seus devotos obtenham tudo da misericórdia divina; substituirá no coração dos homens o amor do mundo pelo amor por Deus e os elevará a desejar as coisas celestiais e eternas.
Quantas almas por este meio se santificarão !.
5. A alma que se encomende pelo Rosário não perecerão.
6. Aquele que com devoção rezar meu Rosário, considerando os mistérios, não se verá oprimido pela desgraça, nem morrerá morte desgraçada; se converterá, se é pecador; perseverará nas graças, se é justo, e em todo caso será admitido na vida eterna.
7. Os verdadeiros devotos de meu Rosário não morrerão sem auxílios da Igreja.

The Problems with the New Liturgy
The History and Nature of the Old and New Mass
In 1969, Paul VI issued a New Order of the Mass that is now used throughout the world in Catholic churches. Before this time, what is commonly referred to as the "Tridentine" or "Latin" Mass, was used by the Church. The Canon, or main part, of this Tridentine Mass, is essentially the same as what the Apostles themselves used, as given to them by Our Lord. Since the time of Christ to 1962, a total of 26 words have been added to the Traditional Canon. Thus, the holy Council of Trent states that this Canon is composed out of the very words of the Lord, the tradition of the Apostles, and the pious institutions of the holy Pontiffs (the 26 words). This is why St. John Vianney said of this Mass: "All the good works together are not of equal value with the Sacrifice of the Mass because they are the works of man, and the Holy Mass is the work of God." Pope Pius IX, when requested to add the name of St. Joseph to the Canon, replied: "I am only the Pope. What power have I to touch the Canon?"
Because of the hallowed sacredness of the Roman Rite and to protect it, Pope St. Pius V codified the Traditional Latin Mass using the strongest language in the proclamation Quo Primum in 1570. It says in part:
"At no time in the future can a priest, whether secular or order priest, ever be forced to use any other way of saying Mass. And in order once and for all to preclude any scruples of conscience and fear of ecclesiastical penalties and censures, we declare herewith that it is by virtue of our Apostolic authority that we decree and prescribe that this present order and decree of ours is to last in perpetuity, and never at a future date can it be revoked or amended legally. . . .
"And if, nevertheless, anyone would dare attempt any action contrary to this order of ours, handed down for all times, let him know that he has incurred the wrath of Almighty God, and of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul."
Despite such a forcible proclamation, the new rite was introduced in 1969. For what reason would the pope ever change the Mass and what are the differences? The use of the vernacular as opposed to Latin in this rite represents a minor difference between the two Masses compared with the other changes. A total of 35 prayers or about 70% of the Tridentine Mass was replaced or discarded. This includes massive changes in the Canon of the Mass and even in the form of the consecration of the Eucharist, which words come directly from Our Lord's words in the Bible. Every other aspect of the Roman Rite changed as well. Sacred Gregorian chant was usurped by guitar, folk, disco, and even rock music. The priest faces the people instead of the altar and tabernacle. Neither the tabernacle or altar are even present now and Communion is received in the hand. Altar girls, liturgical dancing, Eucharistic ministers, and all other manner of scandal are common and accepted.
None of this is surprising, however, when one considers the origin and motivation for the New Mass. It was formed by a council of 200 individuals, among whom were 6 Protestant ministers who were thanked by Paul VI for their assistance in re-editing in a new manner liturgical texts. Paul VI's intention in replacing the liturgy received directly from Our Lord, according to his intimate friend, Jean Guitton, was "to reform the Catholic Liturgy in such a way that it should almost coincide with the Protestant liturgy." This motive alone explains why such incredible differences exist between the new liturgy and the old, why the New Mass has had disastrous effects, and why Our Lord would give warnings to one of His chosen souls against this Mass.
Prophecy of Marie-Julie Jahenny
Marie-Julie Jahenny, the mystic and Stigmatist of La Fraudais and perhaps the greatest mystic in the history of the Church, was born on the 12th of February, 1850, in a little village in Brittany (in the West of France), called Blain. The eldest of five children, she was brought up by her simple, good parents in that lively faith for which Bretons are renowned. Our Lord favored her with many graces from the time of her First Holy Communion, graces to which she corresponded with ever increasing devotion. She joined the Franciscan Third Order when in her early twenties, to help to sanctify herself in the world.
In 1873, she received from Heaven that most remarkable mystic gift, the Stigmata. From the age of twenty-three until her death, some sixty years later, she bore in her body the Wounds of Our Lord to a more visible degree than had any other stigmatist in the Church's history. In addition to the Five Wounds of the Sacred Hands, Feet and Side, Marie-Julie suffered the Wounds inflicted by the Crown of Thorns and the Cross on Our Lord's Sacred Head and Shoulder respectively, the Wounds of His Scourging, those caused by the ropes with which He was bound, as well as other Wounds of a more mystical nature.
Henceforth, Marie-Julie lived her life of coredemptive suffering (as a victim soul) in a little cottage in the hamlet of La Fraudais, near Blain. She thus fulfilled Our Blessed Lord's desire for her to make reparation for the sins of France and the world. The truth of the Heavenly warnings of which she was to be the humble messenger was vindicated by her characteristic simplicity and honesty, her exemplary obedience to her spiritual directors and her Bishop, and of course, by the fulfillment of all she prophesied during her long life. With unfailing accuracy she foretold the two World Wars, the election of Pope Saint Pius X, the various persecutions of the Church, the chastisements and the fate of apostate France. Much remains to unfold. Her warnings for the Last Times should be read by all "who have ears."
Marie-Julie was the wonder of the many scientists who examined her continually, the scorn of unbelievers and the proud, the admiration of her lifelong friend, Monsignor Fourier, Bishop of Nantes, and of the devoted circle of those who made the diffusion of her messages to an ungrateful and unheeding world their life's work. She went to her Heavenly reward on March 4, 1941.
Blind, deaf, dumb and crippled, she had subsisted miraculously on the Blessed Sacrament alone, for the last many years of her life. Surely then, we will not pass over lightly what God has confided to her for the benefit of our own sad days. Now read Marie-Julies's prophecies concerning the new liturgy:
On November 27, 1902 (Ed. note: The seventy-second anniversary of the Miraculous Medal Apparition [November 27, 1830]) and on May 10, 1904, Our Lord warned of the new liturgy which would one day be instituted:
"I give you a warning. The disciples who are not of My Gospel are now working hard to remake according to their ideas, and under the influence of the enemy of souls, a Mass that contains words which are odious in My Sight. When the fatal hour arrives where the faith of my priest is put to the test, it will be these texts that will be celebrated, in this second period."
"The first period is the one of My Priesthood, existing since Me. The second is the one of the persecution, when the enemies of the Faith and of Holy Religion will impose their formulas in the book of the second celebration. Many of My holy priests will refuse this book, sealed with the words of the abyss. Unfortunately, amongst them are those who will accept it."
On May 10, 1904, Our Lady describes the new clergy and its liturgy:
"They will not stop on this hateful and sacrilegious road. They will go further to compromise all at once, and in one blow, the Holy Church, the clergy, and the Faith of my children."
She announces the "dispersion of the pastors" by the Church herself; true pastors, who will be replaced by others formed by Hell: "...new preachers of new sacraments, new temples, new baptisms, new confraternities."
Fruits of the New Mass
"By their fruits you shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, and the evil tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can an evil tree bring forth good fruit." (Matt. 7:15-17) Given the foregoing, it should be plain that the New Mass was conceived for an evil purpose and constructed by evil means. It only follows that such a tree would have disastrous effects on the Church. Let us look at its fruits.
From 1965 to 1973, between 22,000 and 25,000 priests left the priesthood to get married. By 1994, this figure had reached almost 100,000. In 1970 there were 1,003,670 women religious with perpetual or provisional vows; in 1992 that number was down to 655,031. In 1962, there were 46,189 seminarians in the U.S. By early 1992, this number had plummeted to 6,247. In countries such as France and Holland the percentage of Catholics at Mass each Sunday has declined to a single digit. In the U.S., attendance has declined from 71 percent in 1963 to 25 percent in 1993, a decrease of 65 percent. Newsweek polls and surveys show that only 15% of Catholics believe they should always obey Church teaching, nearly as many Catholics think abortion is permissible as non-Catholics, and 75% of Catholics disagree with Church teaching forbidding divorce and contraception. Another study revealed that only 25% of Catholics now believe in the Real Presence and only 50% of the priests.
Who could possibly claim that there is not a terrible crisis of Faith in the Catholic Church? Such are the fruits of the New Mass.
Conclusion
The New Mass is damned by its own nature, by its fruits, and even by Our Lord Himself. The crisis in the Church will continue to worsen until we return to orthodoxy and discipline. Please pray that our dear Savior will grant to restore the Traditional Latin Mass fully throughout the entire Church.
The New Mass cannot have come from God, whereas the True Mass came directly from God. The only safe course to follow is to attend the Traditional Mass at any cost. It is not worth risking the loss of your soul for all eternity.
The History and Nature of the Old and New Mass
In 1969, Paul VI issued a New Order of the Mass that is now used throughout the world in Catholic churches. Before this time, what is commonly referred to as the "Tridentine" or "Latin" Mass, was used by the Church. The Canon, or main part, of this Tridentine Mass, is essentially the same as what the Apostles themselves used, as given to them by Our Lord. Since the time of Christ to 1962, a total of 26 words have been added to the Traditional Canon. Thus, the holy Council of Trent states that this Canon is composed out of the very words of the Lord, the tradition of the Apostles, and the pious institutions of the holy Pontiffs (the 26 words). This is why St. John Vianney said of this Mass: "All the good works together are not of equal value with the Sacrifice of the Mass because they are the works of man, and the Holy Mass is the work of God." Pope Pius IX, when requested to add the name of St. Joseph to the Canon, replied: "I am only the Pope. What power have I to touch the Canon?"
Because of the hallowed sacredness of the Roman Rite and to protect it, Pope St. Pius V codified the Traditional Latin Mass using the strongest language in the proclamation Quo Primum in 1570. It says in part:
"At no time in the future can a priest, whether secular or order priest, ever be forced to use any other way of saying Mass. And in order once and for all to preclude any scruples of conscience and fear of ecclesiastical penalties and censures, we declare herewith that it is by virtue of our Apostolic authority that we decree and prescribe that this present order and decree of ours is to last in perpetuity, and never at a future date can it be revoked or amended legally. . . .
"And if, nevertheless, anyone would dare attempt any action contrary to this order of ours, handed down for all times, let him know that he has incurred the wrath of Almighty God, and of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul."
Despite such a forcible proclamation, the new rite was introduced in 1969. For what reason would the pope ever change the Mass and what are the differences? The use of the vernacular as opposed to Latin in this rite represents a minor difference between the two Masses compared with the other changes. A total of 35 prayers or about 70% of the Tridentine Mass was replaced or discarded. This includes massive changes in the Canon of the Mass and even in the form of the consecration of the Eucharist, which words come directly from Our Lord's words in the Bible. Every other aspect of the Roman Rite changed as well. Sacred Gregorian chant was usurped by guitar, folk, disco, and even rock music. The priest faces the people instead of the altar and tabernacle. Neither the tabernacle or altar are even present now and Communion is received in the hand. Altar girls, liturgical dancing, Eucharistic ministers, and all other manner of scandal are common and accepted.
None of this is surprising, however, when one considers the origin and motivation for the New Mass. It was formed by a council of 200 individuals, among whom were 6 Protestant ministers who were thanked by Paul VI for their assistance in re-editing in a new manner liturgical texts. Paul VI's intention in replacing the liturgy received directly from Our Lord, according to his intimate friend, Jean Guitton, was "to reform the Catholic Liturgy in such a way that it should almost coincide with the Protestant liturgy." This motive alone explains why such incredible differences exist between the new liturgy and the old, why the New Mass has had disastrous effects, and why Our Lord would give warnings to one of His chosen souls against this Mass.
Prophecy of Marie-Julie Jahenny
Marie-Julie Jahenny, the mystic and Stigmatist of La Fraudais and perhaps the greatest mystic in the history of the Church, was born on the 12th of February, 1850, in a little village in Brittany (in the West of France), called Blain. The eldest of five children, she was brought up by her simple, good parents in that lively faith for which Bretons are renowned. Our Lord favored her with many graces from the time of her First Holy Communion, graces to which she corresponded with ever increasing devotion. She joined the Franciscan Third Order when in her early twenties, to help to sanctify herself in the world.
In 1873, she received from Heaven that most remarkable mystic gift, the Stigmata. From the age of twenty-three until her death, some sixty years later, she bore in her body the Wounds of Our Lord to a more visible degree than had any other stigmatist in the Church's history. In addition to the Five Wounds of the Sacred Hands, Feet and Side, Marie-Julie suffered the Wounds inflicted by the Crown of Thorns and the Cross on Our Lord's Sacred Head and Shoulder respectively, the Wounds of His Scourging, those caused by the ropes with which He was bound, as well as other Wounds of a more mystical nature.
Henceforth, Marie-Julie lived her life of coredemptive suffering (as a victim soul) in a little cottage in the hamlet of La Fraudais, near Blain. She thus fulfilled Our Blessed Lord's desire for her to make reparation for the sins of France and the world. Vamos rezar pelo Santo Papa
Amigos! Estamos vivendo um tempo de muita persiguicao a Igreja Catolica! Tambem vemos com nososs proprios olhos a cultura da morte(aborto,eutanasia, divorcios,imoralidade, homosexualidade, poucos valores morais). A cada dia a Igreja Catolica sofre ataques ferozes na midia.
Nos catolicos devemos rezar pelo Santo Papa, que esta alvo de muitos ataques.Nos catolicos devemos nos unir, e acreditar na inocencia do Santo Papa Bento XVI. Vamos rezar por ele. E tambem vamos rezar por todos os seminaristas que estao a se preparar para o sacerdocio para que sejam bons padres, fieis ao Vaticano, fies` as tradicoes e ensinamentos da Igreja Catolica. Vamos tambem rezar pelo aumento das vocacoes religiosas. Pela conversao de todos os catolicos que estao com risco de perder suas almas pela corrupcao da vida moderna e liberal.Pela conversao dos catolicos que dao apoio ao aborto e eutanasia e ao casamento gay, que estao sendo influenciados por padres modernos e nao-castos.
Vamos pedir ao Imaculado Coracao de Maria pela conversao da Russia, assim como pediu Nossa Senhora em Fatima.
Vamos consolar Nosso Senhor Jesus por tantas ofensas, injurias e falta de respeito contra Jesus e os que estao contra a Igreja Catolica.
Favor, amigos. Apenas ums minutinhos de oracao hoje.Um Pai Nosso, uma Ave Maria, um Gloria ao Pai, nestas intencoes de hoje.

Nós, Cónegos Regulares de S. João Câncio (CRSJC), começamos este apostolado em Terras de Santa Maria, num ano de Graça para Portugal. Ano em que o Sumo Pontífice, o Papa Bento XVI, peregrina ao Santuário de Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Fátima. Estar junto a Pedro é sempre uma experiência fortíssima de fé na catolicidade da Igreja Una e Santa.
É nosso desejo realizar as exigências do nosso Carisma - Instaurare sacra – também em Portugal. Por conseguinte, queremos ajudar a promover, na Igreja portuguesa, uma resposta ao apelo feito pelo Santo Padre com o Motu Proprio Summorum pontificum cura.

A versão teatral já se apresentou. É uma paródia repugnante de Nosso Senhor. Uma ação concentrada da nossa parte poderia mudar as coisas.

O terço desprezado pelos Cristãos.
Em quantas paróquias de Portugal e do mundo inteiro católico, o Rosário é desprezado,quanta dor sente A Virgem Santíssima,pois nos recomendou como vindo de Deus.A humanidade tornou-se pagã, depois de 2000 anos de Cristianismo,que horror!
Quantas almas caiem no inferno diariamente, devido á falta de oração e sacrifício, por essas almas não terem quem ore por elas, para obterem uma contrição perfeita e uma dor viva de seus pecados, para que sejam perdoados e a Misericórdia de Deus as envolva e as conduzem ao seu seio Divinal e ao Paraíso Celestial.
Tantas Graças nos deu a Nossa Querida Mãe,no rosário e continuamos a lhe desobedecer.
Se todos os Cristãos rezassem o terço pela humildade,santidade e pureza dos sacerdotes e outras intenções particulares,não teríamos o escândalo dos divórcios,nem os abortos aumentavam e muito menos casamentos de homossexuais.O diagnóstico é terrível e previsível,uma apostasia da fé católica e do mundo.
O ecumenismo é uma forma subtil da idolatria dos nossos tempos e a liberdade de consciência, religiosa e da imprensa torna a fé do católico mais fraca.
O modernismo arruinou nossas almas e nossa vida.
Há quantos anos Nossa Senhora nos pede a consagração da rússia e até agora nada, como meio para obter a paz no mundo e para que Nosso Senhor possa reinar Como Cristo Rei.
Orar,orar,orar e assistir á Missa Tridentina,confissão e comunhão.
Sobretudo a paz virá de fátima e não da ONU ou NATO.
Com a vinda do Santo Padre Bento XVI, talvez mude algo aqui em Portugal ,mas o Coração Imaculado de Maria já começa a triunfar sobretudo a partir das Missas Tridentinas e de uma fé mais firme, e da recitação do terço e pelo abandono do ecumenismo.
Rezem sempre pelas almas do purgatório,pelos agonizantes e pela conversão dos pecadores.
